Company Policies - Risk Assessments

Avonside Roofing has its own Risk Assessment policy and procedures to enable traceability and accountability and comply with current legislation and the company's own philosophy on care.

The Risk Assessment manual:

Identifies responsible individuals on any given site
The methods and schedules of monitoring
The existing/required controls and consequent recommendations
Severity scored 1 to 5 (minor to serious)
Risk scored 1 to 5 (very unlikely to foreseeable accident)

Risk assessments include working at height, adverse weather, use of ladders, scaffolding, plant and tools, loading and storage of materials and disposal of waste.

The assessment relates not only to Avonside Roofing Ltd's inducted workers but also to others who may be affected by their activities
