The range of innovations developed by Avonside Roofing is unrivalled by any other contractor. Avonside Roofing was one of the first roofing contractors to offer what is now known as the 'leadwork package' to house builders. The key benefit of this initiative is it enables scaffolding to be stripped earlier so as to support the builder in being on schedule.

Avonside Roofing has also been a leading light in the promotion of low maintenance, dry fix systems to the industry. This has seen a reduction in the need for mortar on any given property, again saving the builder programme time, as roofs that traditionally would have stood due to bad weather can now be completed.

Many contracts/sites call for traditional roofing. Avonside Roofing has been instrumental in the design of a new roofing mortar, currently used across Avonside's sites as a standard material. The product's properties offer the builder enhanced performance, minimising the risk of mortar problems and consequent call-backs in the future.

This has a dual focus - not only reflecting its commitment to minimising the impact of building and construction activities on the environment, but also exploring new technologies and systems.

Avonside Roofing is heavily involved in the renewable energy market. It is being consulted by a number of developers and manufacturers, who are deploying Avonside Roofing's vast experience to find ways of achieving renewable targets in an economically viable manner. A prime example of our drive to lead the industry in delivering energy efficient solutions is our expanding programme of solar panel installation at a number of sites in Britain. These panels save energy and are also aesthetically pleasing as Avonside Roofing believes that any innovation must meet the needs of all parties - from architect, contractor and builder to the government and proud occupier.
